The JEGS 41069 aluminum weld fitting is specifically designed for use with tapered probe capillary sensors. This type of sensor is found on most mechanical temperature gauges. The universal nature of this fitting allows it to be TIG welded into the location that works best for your build. Using a stepped design, the base is a smaller diameter than the rest of the bung allowing it to sit in the hole where it is to be welded. Don't let an inaccessible or missing capillary sensor mount prevent you from monitoring your vehicle's coolant temperature.
