Special Note: This mechanical temperature gauge weld fitting has a tapered probe seat designed for a capillary tube with a tapered probe. It will not work with gauges that are equipped with a capillary tube that has a flat probe. We recommend that you check your gauge before ordering.
These weld fittings, also known as weld bungs, are ideal for fabricators who are constructing or reworking an oil pan, transmission pan, axle cooler, etc. Steel female weld fittings are NPT; males have a 37° taper with AN spec.
