- Upgrade from stock type coil, or when using capacitive discharge system. 48,000 volt coil is recommended for use with 049-ALL81220 and 049-ALL81222 distributors. Sturdy, high impact housing is epoxy filled to protect against vibration. Extruded aluminum bracket eases mounting. Mounting hardware, anti-vibration mounting pads, ring terminals and high temperature silicone boot are included.
Note: Works with Series 6 ignition systems, Not for use with Series 7 ignition systems.
