Enhanced Braking Performance

Sold with or without fittings, Wilwood Residual Brake Pressure Valves retain a minimum brake line pressure to eliminate excessive travel in disc or drum brakes. Use the 2 psi valve (blue) in disc brakes where the master cylinder is below the calipers' horizontal plane. Use the 4 psi valve (gold) for disc brake systems to reduce caliper piston retraction and pad knockback. Use the 10 psi valve (red) for drum brakes; extra pressure compensates for return spring tension in the drums.
