UMI Performance has collaborated with a leading Nascar Cup chassis engineer to design Lowering Spring Kits that are ideal for use in autocross, pro-touring, and corner-carving/cruising applications. The front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi premium wire and the rear springs are wound from 9254 CrSi premium wire; all with an application-specific linear rate. The linear rate provides consistent handling characteristics that are important for autocross and pro-touring applications, while the increase in stiffness reduces body roll and prevents the classic GM "floating" sensation for a firm, comfortable ride.
