The continuous ring movement allows for consistent cylinder pressure distribution to ensure that the cylinder wall wears evenly by eliminating hot spots. The moly-coated top ring, cast-iron middle ring, and stainless-steel oil ring work together to reinforce the piston and eliminate gas combustion leakage. The ability to run a thinner, lightweight set of rings with strategically designed horizontal slots improves ring-to-wall sealing by routing the pressure to force the ring outward. Available in your choice of various bore and ring sizes, these gas-port top ring sets are ideal for street use, race applications, and mild levels of nitrous or forced induction.
