Spohn Performance's tubular front upper control a-arms for the 1978-1988 GM G-Body & 1982-2003 GM S-10/S-15 (2WD) set a new, higher standard of performance and quality. When we designed our upper a-arms, we had two goals in mind.
One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest race tracks, the second was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle. We're proud to say that we have accomplished both.
They decrease overall weight by 4 lb., and more importantly, in.un-sprung in. weight. These feature zero deflection greaseable fluted Delrin bushings that are fluted on the o.d. and i.d. and feature dual grease flow through holes for smooth rotation.
They also provide for additional header clearance and are assembled with new forged 4140 chrome moly offset cross shafts and heavy-duty bushing retainers for maximum strength and rigidity, resulting in a very precise steering feel.
These tubular upper control a-arms are designed for use with factory or drop spindles. This package includes premium greaseable +1/2 in. tall ball joints (K5208T) installed with high quality Grade 8 mounting hardware. The ½” taller ball joints will improve the camber curve resulting in increased lateral grip.
Powder coated for a brilliant and durable finish.
