For NASCAR, IMSA, Formula Drift, off-road and many other racing applications, fuel cells are a requirement for safety’s sake. Fuel cells from Speedmaster are manufactured from strong, lightweight 5051 aircraft grade aluminum alloy, with TIG welded seams for durable, leakproof construction. Fuel sloshing and aeration is prevented by the foam baffles in the base of each fuel cell. Each fuel cell includes a flush mount, aircraft-style fuel cap, -10 AN fittings and a 0-90 ohm GM sending unit.

Select fuel cells are available as a full kit, including the sender, 140 gph electric fuel pump, fuel filter, pressure gauge, fuel line, hose clamps, fittings and billet fuel pressure regulator. Fuel cells are available in sizes that include 2.5 gal, 5 gal, 8 gal, 10 gal, 13 gal, 15 gal and 20 gal. Fitment, Compatibility and Applications 

Speedmaster aluminum fuel cells are designed to be a universal fit on a wide range of vehicles, and are compliant with all safety regulations. To prevent atomization and reduce the tendency toward surging, the foam baffle should remain in the fuel cell; however, it will need to be removed for fuel rated at 93 octane or higher.
