  Sanderson Headers PWRCPS-LF-P Features:

  Sanderson PowerCaps capture hidden horsepower on Lakes-style header applications when using an under-chassis exhaust connection. Utilizing an under-chassis exhaust connector allows the installation of a quieter under-chassis exhaust system, and adding the PowerCaps increases power while extending lakes-style header life. PowerCaps reduce turbulence at the end of Limefire and Jayster lakes-style headers by improving the flow of exhaust gasses into the under-chassis exhaust system. The Sanderson PowerCaps adapters slide into the Sanderson Limefire or Jayster lakes style header and bolt directly to the block-off plate flange, dramatically improving performance, reducing exhaust gas temperatures, and enhancing exhaust tone.

NOTE: If the engine is making decent power, adding the PowerCaps option is recommended to prevent possible discoloration of the header coating on Limefire and Jayster headers. For Limefire headers Available in Silver Ceramic Coated finish, Black Satin Ceramic Coated finish, or raw metal (plain steel). Please select the correct option to match your header finish. Sold as a set (pair) Block-Off Plates are sold separately TIP: Whatever block-off plate is used, the removable functionality allows bypassing the exhaust system in venues that allow open exhaust. Create your own block-off plate or use Sanderson’s “classic look in. Finned Cast Aluminum Plates (#LFBP) for Limefire applications, or use a Sanderson Turnout Tip (#LFTO for Limefire, or #JAYTO for Jayster).

Installation Notes:

The Patented Leak-Free Design on Sanderson Headers provides the only leak-free flange design on the market … Do Not Attempt To Use Flange Gaskets! The raised flange on tube-style Sanderson Headers will buckle the gasket during tightening and cause a leak! Sanderson Headers are NOT emissions legal on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify local regulations for compliance. Wrapping Sanderson Headers with ANY thermal tape voids the header warranty.
