This adapter lets a flathead or Y-block Ford 4-barrel intake manifold accept a standard-bore Carter AFB, Edelbrock Performer, or Holley 4-barrel carburetor. Note that AFB and Edelbrock carburetors will not work on 1948-and-earlier engines due to their water outlet layout.
