This neutral safety switch is designed for 1967-1972 Chevrolet Camaro, Impala, Pontiac Firebird, and other GM models equipped with an automatic transmission floor shifter. Located on the floor shifter, it allows current to pass from the ignition switch to the starter only when the lever is in park or neutral. Also provides back-up lamp operation. Features a 4-terminal connector. Replaces OE numbers 1993434, 1993404, 1993405, and 1993380.
