Milodon's One-Piece Oil Pan Gaskets offer a few advantages over conventional-style oil pan gaskets. The one-piece design prevents leaks at the corners of the oil pan where a typical 4-piece gasket would meet. The molded rubber is reusable and they have steel inserts around each bolt hole so the oil pan bolts can be securely tightened without "squeezing" the gasket.
