These factory correct GM replacement hoods are ready to bolt into place, but do not include hinges or latch hardware. The team at JEGS does a rigorous QC check on each hood before packaging. Small dings, surface scratches, swirls and other minor defects aren’t considered damage, and will be worked out during sanding, priming and prep work. For a factory correct look, hoods come complete with power bulges, non-functional or functional cowl induction scoop and other details. 

Please note that the EDP coating is protective and shouldn’t serve as a primer for paint. For adhesion of primer, it will be necessary to prep the surface by cleaning with wax/grease remover, then sanding with 320/400 grit sandpaper or maroon scuff pad, roughing up the surface. It’s advisable to use an epoxy primer for best results.
