    JEGS 78592 hood hinge spring is designed to replace your worn-out or damaged spring(s). Each piece is made to match the OE length and spring tension.

    JEGS 78592 Specifications:

    • Number of Coils: 26
    • Total Length: 8 1/2 in. (215 mm)
    • Wire Diameter: 0.196 in. (5 mm)

    Note: Made to work with steel hoods only. High spring tension will break fiberglass. Replaces OE GM part number 3877203.

      • Maintain Proper Tension with Quality Hood Springs

      Hood springs from JEGS deliver the proper tension to fiberglass and steel bolt-on hoods. Spring tensions range from low to medium for fiberglass hoods and standard for steel hoods. Reduce the risk of damaging or cracking your new lightweight hood while maintaining proper functionality on your standard steel hoods.
