Improve your brake's performance with a vacuum reserve tank from JEGS. When installing a high lift camshaft it's common to have issues of low vacuum at idle and slow speeds. This issue can result in not having enough vacuum for the brake booster to function at full potential. When in use, the reserve tank builds a vacuum while driving, when the most is being produced. As you slow down, the one-way valve stops the flow and retains the vacuum in the tank that is then used by the booster when applying the brakes.
JEGS 555-63010 Vacuum Reserve Canister Features:
- Includes: one grommet, 1 one-way 3/8 “ check valve, one 1/8 “ npt x 90 degree fitting, and one 3/8 “ barb x 1/8 npt port plug
- Provides extra vacuum that larger camshafts can’t provide to properly feed your power brake booster
- Steel with black finish for great looks and long life
- Optional mounting brackets and vacuum gauge are available separately
- Tank dimensions: 6 3/4 in. L x 4 7/8 W (not including handle or one-way valve)
