Certain late-model Chrysler PCMs ship locked against direct reprogramming from the factory, and the HP Tuners PCM-0C-185AA is built to get around that limitation on 2018-2019 Chrysler 300 sedans equipped with the 5.7L Hemi V8. HP Tuners performs a physical modification to the module itself before it ships, restoring write access so the unit can be flashed and tuned instead of running the factory-locked strategy.
