A cutout lets you have a quiet car on the street and an open exhaust at the track without swapping anything. This is the dual kit, so both banks open together off one remote, and the tubing is TIG-welded T-304 stainless with 6061 aluminum valve brackets so it survives being under a car. It is a weld-in, not a bolt-on.

Hooker’s Street Tease Exhausts Cut-Outs are a simple and economical way to extract more power and sound out of your exhaust system. Designed as a universal application upgrade, these cut-out kits run on a single, weatherproof 12V cigarette lighter plug for their main power supply, no rewiring of the electrical system needed. The exhaust tubing is T-304 stainless steel and the cut-out housings are 6061 billet aluminum. Together they will provide years of maintenance free exhaust performance that looks and sounds great! The single kit comes with a toggle switch to mount in the dash while the dual kit comes with a wireless remote for valve operation. These cut-out kits are designed to be welded on and cannot be bolted into an existing exhaust system.
