The Crown Automotive J5360058 Fuel Tank Vent Valve is a direct-fit OE replacement for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 1984-1996 Cherokee XJ, 1986-1992 Comanche MJ, and 1993-1996 Grand Cherokee ZJ models, as well as select Dodge and Chrysler applications. The vent valve regulates airflow in and out of the charcoal canister as part of the Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system. A failed vent valve can cause fuel odors, poor fuel economy, rough idle, and EVAP-related diagnostic trouble codes.
