SB-0037RA Universal Rear Sway Bar Kit (Axle Mounted) for use with various cars and trucks. Use primarily with leaf spring type rear-ends.

Sway bars are an excellent way to improve the handling and overall drivability of early cars and trucks. Eliminates road sway. For best results use front and rear bars together. Linkage and mounting hardware furnished. Upper linkage is customer's responsibility to fabricate for the universal rear bar. 36 in. eye eye.

Bolt bar to bottom of axle as shown below. Center side to side. Drawing shows a bolt-on bracket, these might vary in appearance. Ends extend forward under axle.

Determine and locate frame mounts (not included) for linkage.

After locating mounting point, fabricate and weld tabs on inside frame rails (this may require boxing this small section of the frame),or other suitable location. The type of mount and method of its installation will vary greatly with type of frame used.

Assemble linkage and finish installation as shown below.

Note: Use of lowering blocks is not advised in some applications due to possible interference with shocks.
