They safely prevent things from falling into openings of you carb and potentially harming your engine. Each Allstar carburetor hat measures 5-1/8" in diameter. They are available in your choice of plastic or aluminum.
Note: Hats will not clear choke linkage or shaft on Holley style carbs but will clear choke horn with choke linkage and shaft removed.
